it's not your fault
those hands are freezing
name: lyra zayn malfoy.
nicknames: lyra.
age: sixteen, november 13, fifth year.
house: Slytherin.
gender: girl.
sexuality: straight.
wand: cherrywood, 10 ¾ inches long, core of dragon bone.
pets: a black cat named Maeve.
play-by: Cameron Richardson
borne from childish days
you carry the scars
height: 5’3”. so 63 inches.
weight: 106 lbs.
body style: thin.
tattoos and piercings: none.
distinguishing features: dark eyes (unusual with blonde hair and pale skin) and a mole on the left side of her neck, high up.
overall appearance: Lyra wears her blonde hair down most of the time, and unlike most girls, she doesn't straighten it, prefering to leave it wavy. Shes not too heavy on the makeup - just a bit of lipgloss and eyeliner. Despite the simplicity of the makeup, it's very expensive - only the best for a Malfoy girl.
The same goes for her clothes. Shes not too flashy with the clothes - but not just a t-shirt and jeans by any means - but their more expensive than the average girl could afford. Her tops are usually loose, flowy, often with some kind of print on it. Hardly a t-shirt. She does wear jeans, usually skinny or straight-leg. She wears sandals most of the time. The only time she really deviates from this style is when it's a special occasion and she can get away with a dress, putting her hair up, etc. She loves doing it; she always wants to.

makes this world shine
patronus: house cat.
boggart: death.
animagus: none.

dislikes:
strengths:
weaknesses:
fears: death and losing the respect and love of her family.
secrets: blood makes her sick, and she's a little afraid of the dark.
overall personality: Given her heritage and wealthy family, it shouldn't come as a surprise that she's materialistic, spoiled, and not too fond of muggleborns. She expects to get what she wants from most people, and gets angry when she doesn't get it. She likes people of her own class, house, things like that. Muggleborns, Griffindors, they just don't fit in with that preference.
But the family ideals take their toll on her as well. She's a little afraid to associate with people her family doesn't like. She wants her family to love her; they won't if she doesn't conform to the family ideals. She works hard, gets good grades, associates with the right people. The rich pureblood ones.
She's fairly arrogant, haughty, but usually pretty cheerful. She treats the"wrong" people with disdain, however much they make fun of her for it, but her friends see her - mostly - normal. She's happy, likes to dress up and talk about boys and clothes. Especially boys - though she's not a slut. She's doesn't sleep around - those family ideals again.
everyone is searching
for a place to end their sadness
hometown: London
family: father: Draco Malfoy; mother: Astoria Malfoy (nee Greengrass); brother: Scorpius Malfoy (17), sister: Carina Malfoy (14)
blood: pure.
history: It was unusual for the Malfoys to have more htan one child, but Lyra, and a year later her sister, are proof that it happens. And from the day she was born, Lyra was expected to be a good pureblood girl and only associate with the right people. The rich, also pureblood families - coincidentally, also former death eaters.
It was always hard for her to be the child of a death eater - for one, because was afraid of death from the very beginning. Not just her own or the death of her loved ones, either - just the idea in general. She would stay awake at night when she was little, wondering about it. Dead bodies, any way to die - it's all scary. Voldemort and his followers killed a lot of people - and she doesn't like being associated with him.
But also because those hated death eaters were her godparents, her parent's friends, the ones who gave her gifts and spoiled her. Their children were her playmates, her childhood friends. When she grew up, she was expected to marry someone just like them - respectful, rich, pureblood, and Slytherin. So far, she's lived up to those expectations. She's a Slytherin, and she does choose her friends due to her family's ideals.
She might have been more lax, but she knew that her brother was friends with a Potter, and she knew her parents would hate it. She was admonished about the social stigma of fraternizing with 'mudbloods'. And she listened, wanting nothing more than the continuance of her family's affection and pride.
Most of her life was formed around that that longing - she works hard in school, brings home good grades, befriends only people that are the 'right' kind. It strains her ralationships with her siblings - her brother with his Potter friend, and her sister, who she never got along with in the first place, not being in Slytherin - but what does it matter, when she has it all?
